Plop Browser for iPhone & iPad

Your page.
Your whole screen.

A quieter way to browse. Plop puts the website first and keeps the address bar and controls close, without keeping them in the way.

Less in the way.
More to enjoy.

Read an article, follow a curiosity, or find something worth saving. The browser should feel like part of the moment.

01

Controls with a gesture

Tap a page with two fingers to reveal your browsing controls. Prefer something visible? Enable a small control handle in Settings.

02

Settle into Reader

Open supported articles in Reader for a calmer layout. Adjust the text size to make long reads comfortable.

03

A browser that feels yours

Choose a theme and set the app to light, dark or system appearance. Keep private browsing separate with temporary private tabs.

On iPad, too

Give the web
some room.

Plop adapts to the space available on your iPad. Browse on a larger display and use keyboard shortcuts when a keyboard is connected: Command-L for the address bar, Command-T for a new tab, and Command-W to close one.

Moving between devices? Builds with iCloud sync can share profiles, themes and saved pages through the same Apple Account. See what sync includes.

A few good questions.

Is Plop an alternative to Safari on iPhone?

Plop is a separate web browser for iPhone and iPad. Its focus is full-screen browsing, gesture controls and a personal look. You can try it alongside Safari; downloading Plop does not replace your existing browser.

How do I get the address bar back?

Tap the page with two fingers to show the controls. You can also enable a small control handle in Settings. Read the Plop help guide.

Does private browsing hide me from every website?

No. Private tabs use temporary storage and stay out of Plop’s saved history, but websites and your network can still see the requests you make. Read the privacy details.

Can I use Plop on my Mac?

Yes. The Plop for Mac beta supports Apple silicon and Intel Macs running macOS 14 or later, with split views, Cover Flow tabs and custom themes.
